Dionne Warwick

wg design1While music legend Dionne Warwick's performance skills are world renown, her imaginative skills as an interior designer will surprise! Her creative eye with color and texture and fabric interwoven with a well-conceived interior design finish has earned Dionne kudos. Dionne, working with her partner Bruce, has been responsible for designing numerous international projects ranging from private estates to world-class hotels which, she notes, are "all affordable!" In 2002 Dionne was featured on a Home & Garden Television Network show highlighting the Palm Desert home which they designed. Dionne's expertise as a host or co-host is well-documented. She has hosted several television programs, including her own "Dionne & Friends." She hosted the long running hit show "Solid Gold," has been a guest host on ET, helped launch and for several years hosted the popular "Soul Train Awards," and received a Cable ACE nomination for executive producing and hosting the SHOWTIME Special "That's What Friends Are For." Bruce Garrick

wgdesign2Since 1974 Bruce W. Garrick has tallied numerous design achievements ranging from dramatic private estates to many other residential and commercial properties. In 1987 he was vice president and senior designer of the Dionne Warwick Design Group with offices in Beverly Hills, Hawaii, and Rio de Janeiro. In the 1980's he has been a leading member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), Los Angeles Chapter, having variously served as Professional Member, Second Vice President, Treasurer, and three terms member of the Board of Directors, and past head of Food & Beverage for the ASID National Convention held in Los Angeles. Garrick's recognized specialist areas include commercial buildings,distinguished residences and offices, hotels and restaurants, motion picture sets design and film production, screen plays writing, and theme recreational parks conceptual design. He utilizes state-of-the-art robotics and other special visual and sound effects, nautical and aircraft interior design, and detailed renovation and restoration projects. Many of Mr. Garrick's completed interior designs have been used for sets on television and motion pictures. Bruce is a native of Los Angeles. He received his higher education at Woodbury University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in the Professional Arts and major in Interior Design and minor in Business. Before joining the Dionne Warwick Design Group, he was the creative mind and design partner behind Robert Cheroske & Associates in Beverly Hills, Ca. Prior to the long affiliation with Cheroske he was the president of his own interior design firm. He is the recipient of numerous professional and creative awards, including (3) esteemed Presidential Citation Awards of the ASID. Garrick has published works in Designers West, Better Homes and Gardens, Audio-Video Interiors, Palm Springs Life, Hawaiian Home, Spy, Honolulu Magazine, Premiere Estates, Aloha Magazine, and Unique Homes. Bruce's Santa Fe style home in La Quinta, Ca was featured on AT HOME WITH on the Home and Garden Network. Featured on LIFE STYLES OFTHE RICH AND FAMOUS, and the MIKE & MATTY SHOW as a guest with Dionne Warwick. Garrick has been a professional actor in Film & Television since an early age with guest star appearances on IRONSIDE, SARGE, COLUMBO, and a series regular on ROOM 222 (Paul), MY THREE SON'S (Garry), THE BILL COSBY SHOW (Bruce), and HEADMASTER. Having backgrounds in Design, Acting, business, and a mother that worked for Walt Disney, it was a natural crossover for Garrick to enter into a career in film production and family entertainment. Mr. Garrick's mission and visions for the future are eco green related projects from a green production studio, fabricated modular habitats, organic cooking shows, health spa, to an environmental green educational theme park, and film and television projects. His active avocations include painting, photography, hiking, exploratory travel, horseback riding, sailing, fossil digs, FX creations, Illusionist, UFOiogist, and a passion for haunting houses.
